| Guess it's been a month since I've posted...or opened this site, for that matter. I'm a slacker! I'm feeling uninspired about schoolwork. Harvard's theory of "let's have finals/papers due after Christmas" has really got me into a slump. | | |
| it's definately that time of year where I start totally losing motivation about my classes. The really bad part is that they will not, in fact, be over in a matter of weeks, but that Harvard is *so* smart that we actually have to have our finals after Christmas. Therefore, nothing is really urgent right now, though I probably need to get my ass in gear. However, I really don't feel like it. It's this killer season! Instead, I do boring things like playing silly games on facebook, watching comedy shows, and realizing that it's 6:30 at night on a Saturday and I've done nothing at all all day! | | |
| Ah, it's thanksgiving! The surprise has been revealed! Wolfie's birthday present is http://www.amazon.com/Video-Ultra-Camcorder-60-Minutes-Black/dp/B000V1PXMI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=photo&qid=1195764313&sr=1-1 A rockin' pocket-sized video camera! I guess we never take videos now, but probably because we don't have a video camera! Anyway, it's super cute. I smell duck cooking! Since it's just the 2 of us this Thanksgiving (definately *not* interested in spending money for plane tickets for just a few days!), I thought a turkey might be a little too much. But Wolfie seemed sad not to get to be a gourmet chef, so we found a way that we can have tasty dinner without a year's worth of leftovers. In other news: I actually have very little homework to do, and a very long weekend. I think we'll have to take more days off and go on more adventures! | | |
| With Thanksgiving coming up, i'm bound to be awesomely done with homework before long! I might have to settle in and get started on an end-of-semester paper over the super-long weekend. Wolfie's birthday is on Thanksgiving, and since he doesn't like to celebrate his birthday, I think we'll celebrate Thanksgiving and pretend it's *not* a birthday celebration. I got him such a cool present. I'd tell you what, but he sometimes reads this blog. Can't ruin the surprise! If you're not already playing this game, you should be. :) Clicky!

| We finally did make it to Salem this weekend. I had no school on Monday, and so I decided I was totally justified in taking Sunday off from schoolwork and having a little fun. Everything there closes around 5, and we didn't get up there until like 3, but we went to a silly witch museum which also attempted to tell us how wonderful modern witches are. Sort of weird, but I suppose you expect that sort of thing. What seems most amazing to me is that the girls, who knew they were faking it, just kept going along with it even when things turned crazy. I guess maybe they didn't know how to stop it, or maybe they started almost believing it themselves. Why do you think they did it? | | |
